For the past month we have been gathering player feedback and analyzing game data in order to determine how to move forward with Conquest. The community have been extremely helpful in providing insightful feedback, and we’ve been able to use this to reduce the pace of the game mode slightly, while keeping in the new action packed feel.
Asteroids in Persephone’s Embrace and the Umber Expanse have been adjusted, with lots of asteroids removed. This should now feel less claustrophobic.
Asteroids in the Home Base sectors have been adjusted, brought in closer to the station so are a little more useful for attackers attempting to break line of sight.
Sector Boundary Adjustments
Vertical boundaries have been reduced to 12,000m up/12,000m down (Conquest sectors now same height as Frontline sector)
Forward Stations have been moved out by 2,000m, End Mines out by 1,000m.
Station positions are measured from Center of Sector to Center of Station.
Jump Point Positions
Jump Points have moved back in Alpha/Beta by 2,000m – they have moved with the Forward Station so distances to that station remain the same, while distance to End Mine has increased by 1,000m.
Jump Points around Gamma have moved out by 1,000m while the Gamma Capture Zone has had its radius increased by 1,000m so distance from jump point to Gamma is unchanged.
Capture time adjustments to Forward Stations and Home Base went into a hotfix prior to Conquest 2.1 but are listed here under 2.1.
Capture Times are based on a medium ship at Upgrade level 0 (at Upgrade level 9 a Medium ship will capture 4x faster than at Upgrade Level 0).
Forward Station Updates
The 15,000m Spotting Area around each Forward Station has been reduced to 12,000m.
Gamma Capture Zone has increased in size from a radius of 6,500m to 7,500m. Jump Points around Gamma have moved out by 1,000m and so are still the same distance from the Capture Zone.
Players will now be automatically Spotted in Gamma only while inside the Gamma Capture Zone, rather than the whole Sector.
Damage Reduction offered by all levels of Gamma buff has been reduced, players with Gamma buff will now be a bit easier to kill.
Respawn times have two components – a base respawn time determined by your current upgrade level, plus an additional modifier based on game time.
There is also a maximum respawn time.

The same curve has been used on all versions of Conquest.
